There are two ways to sign up for Orange Money Europe:

   Go to any Orange shop or authorized distributor with your Orange phone and a valid ID (like a national ID, passport, or driver’s license). An agent will help you complete the form and activate your account on the spot.

Yes, Orange Money can receive international transfers from services like Ria. While sending out international transfers from Orange Money wallets is limited or unavailable in some countries, receiving money is widely supported.

Here are the transfer and balance limits for Orange Money Europe accounts:
 

Basic account: 

• Max balance: €500 

• Max transfer: €500 per transaction/day/month 

• Max 4 transactions per day 

  
  

Full account (after upgrade): 

• Max balance: €5,000 

• Max transfer: €950 per day, €2,000 per month 

  
  

All limits reset on the 1st of each month.  

For African countries, transfer and withdrawal limits vary by country and user account type. Here is an example: 

Cameroon (Orange Money Africa) 

• Cash‑in: up to XAF 500, 000 per transaction; XAF 2,000, 000 per day 

• Cash‑out: up to XAF 500, 000 per transaction; XAF 750, 000 per day 

• P2P transfers: up to XAF 1,000, 000 per transaction; XAF 1,500, 000 per day 

• Wallet max balance: XAF 5 million

To send money to someone’s Orange Money wallet with Ria, you’ll typically need: 

• The recipient’s full name (matching their Orange Money registration) 

• The recipient’s mobile phone number linked to their Orange Money account

  Always double-check that the recipient's number is registered with Orange Money to avoid delays or failed transfers. 

Transfers to Orange Money via Ria are usually completed within minutes. However, some transactions may take longer due to local regulations, time zones, or additional verification requirements. 

Yes, users can withdraw money from their Orange Money account. If you're in Europe, there are two main options:

1. Cash withdrawal at a partner location in France 

   
   

   Available only for customers who opened their account in France. Visit a participating store to withdraw cash directly. 

   
   

2. Bank transfer (SEPA) from the mobile app 

   
   

   Available for customers in France and other European countries. You can transfer funds to your own bank account, as long as the IBAN is in your name. 

   
   

   Just open the app, go to the “More” menu, then select “Withdraw money.” 

If you're sending money to someone in Africa, they'll be able to withdraw the funds immediately after your transfer is approved.
